Henry, we were both off : Joshua Clottey managed to finish the entire length of the fight without getting knocked out.

Nevertheless, Manny Pacquiao was masterful in the way he circled Clottey and mixed up head and body shots.

True that Clottey's chin looks stronger than Cotto's, but I was making my prediction (which I do agree is bold) based on two points:

1.) The first one you raised yourself -- Clottey's plodding style. I just don't see him matching up as well against Pacman as somone like Cotto, who moves a bit better and is a bit more evasive.

2.) But more importantly -- Pacman isn't gonna let up in this fight...at all. He's now got more of a chip on his shoulder, given the whole Floyd debacle, and I think that he's out to prove that he is the best pound for pound fighter, and Floyd better step up if he wants to prove otherwise.

So really, for me, it comes down to the attitude that Pacman has going into this fight. I think that once he realized that he'd won the Cotto fight (which was relatively early on in the fight), he coasted. I don't see that happening this time.

Henry, six rounds is hardly impossible, in my opinion. It is, however, bold.

Even Miguel Cotto, whose chin doesn't look to be nearly as strong as Joshua Clottey's, wasn't stopped until the final round.

Clottey does have a plodding style, which makes him more vulnerable to the blinding assaults of Pacquiao.

He has shown a tendency, like he did against Cotto, to let up late in fights.

And we don't know what new dimension Pacquiao is going to bring this time around.

Ultimately, what do you think will spell an early end for Clottey against Pacquiao?

I agree completely that this fight won't be decided on points. I just don't think Clottey's tough enough to withstand the beating he's inevitably gonna take...and that's saying something because Clottey IS one tough mofo.

You said it -- Pacman is evolving with every fight, and getting much more frightening every time he steps into the ring. Did anyone think he was gonna take Hatton down so easily? I certainly didn't. I agree that this fight will get stopped early by the ref intervening, but I don't think it will go nearly 10 rounds. 6 rounds, tops, in my opinion...

As I've said, Joshua Clottey is an extremely tough and physical fighter. I don't think Manny Pacquiao will just knock him out with a big punch or two.

When I say I can see Clottey getting "knocked out" for the first time in his career, I mean something more along the lines of getting constantly battered to the point by the Pacman that the ref has to intervene.

Pacquiao has been evolving from fight to fight, and the reason I'm so excited about watching this bout against Clottey is that I want to see how his game has progressed.

Nice one, Doc! I say the Pacman will take it on points. Clottey can take the punches, but I don't think he can outscore MP. Be worth watching, though!
