No, Jose Aldo didn't look all that pretty during the fight : He looked awkward trying to box and kickbox his way with the champ Mike Brown. Aldo had some nice kicks and punches, but also had to fend off Brown's heavy hands and takedowns.

However, when Aldo ducked Brown's lunging left hook and took Brown down 46 seconds into the second round, the fight changed. The Brazilian Aldo capitalized, passing guard with ease, and taking Brown's back when the now former champion made the mistake of showing his back for the second time.

Jose Aldo locked in with his legs, sealed Brown to the floor, and pounded away until the referee stopped the bout at the 1:20 mark of the second round.
